L Position: Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer

Experience: 8–10 years

Industry Preference: Paints, Dyes, and Colour industries

We are seeking a Mechanical/Maintenance Engineer with proven expertise in project handling and site maintenance leadership. The role involves overseeing the maintenance function to deliver both reactive and proactive, multi-skilled services across all operational equipment and facility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the site maintenance team, ensuring reliability and availability of all equipment.

Develop and implement planned preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence and timely completion.

Drive improvements in operational effectiveness, project delivery, and reduction of downtime.

Improve mean time between failures (MTBF) and overall asset reliability.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.

Mentor and guide the maintenance team, establishing best practices, policies, and standard procedures.

Manage and deliver engineering projects within defined cost, quality, and time parameters.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives and modern manufacturing principles.

Identify deficiencies and recommend improvements in training, working practices, and processes.

Track and deliver performance against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Candidate Profile:

8–10 years of relevant experience in Paints, Dyes, or Colour industries.

Strong project management experience and exposure to site-wide maintenance functions.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Hands-on expertise in modern maintenance practices, reliability tools, and continuous improvement methods.
