Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, optimization, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems meet regulatory standards, operate efficiently, and maintain safety standards while supporting the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.

• Preparing daily & Monthly Maintenance Report.


• Preparing Plant Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Schedule & Maintaining Check List for the equipment.


• Attending & rectifying the major and minor breakdowns.


• Attending daily maintenance Work.


• Preparation of Documentation ISO-9001.Continuous Improvement:


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in mechanical systems.


• Work on improving efficiency, energy consumption, and overall system performance


• Introduce new technologies or methods to enhance production capabilities and reliability.

• Collaborate with process engineers, quality assurance teams, and other departments to ensure that mechanical systems meet production requirements.


• Communicate effectively with management and team members to resolve issues and provide technical expertise.

• Ensure mechanical systems comply with pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards (FDA, OSHA, ISO, etc.).


• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including equipment specifications, drawings, and maintenance logs.


• Support internal audits and external regulatory inspections by providing technical input and documentation

• Bachelor s degree/Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in a pharmaceutical or related regulated industry


• Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment (e.g., aseptic processing, fluid handling systems, and packaging equipment) is preferred.
