• Key Responsibilities
• Research and Design: Analyze problems to design new or improve existing mechanical and thermal devices, components, or systems.
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Create detailed blueprints and technical drawings using CAD software to visualize designs.
• Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes of designed devices, conduct experiments and tests, and analyze the results to validate designs and make improvements.
• Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise and provide technical guidance during the manufacturing process to ensure the quality and successful production of devices.
• Analysis and Diagnostics: Investigate equipment failures or operational difficulties to diagnose problems and recommend effective remedies.
• Project Management: Assess project requirements, agree on budgets and timescales, and oversee project teams to ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes.
• Quality Control: Establish standards and policies for quality control, installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
