Job Title: Mechanical Engineer with HVAC

Location: Chennai

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in HVAC drafting (especially in VRF projects)

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Draftsman with hands-on experience in preparing detailed design and layout drawings for VRF systems, Chillers, and Central Plant setups.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of translating engineering concepts into precise technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop HVAC layout drawings and shop drawings for VRF, Chiller, and Central Plant systems.
• Interpret design sketches and specifications provided by engineers or project managers.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams to make necessary modifications or corrections in drawings.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions.
• Support the design and installation teams during project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / MEP / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
• Candidates without formal qualifications but with strong hands-on HVAC drafting experience will also be considered
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in HVAC drafting — must have worked on VRF system designs
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting tools.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, equipment selection, and layout standards
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of MEP coordination drawings
• Familiarity with Chiller and Central Plant layouts
• Basic understanding of design principles and mechanical services integration
