Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a member of an international team working on pioneering solutions for global projects in the energy industry. Your responsibilities will include designing HVAC systems, preparing design basis and philosophy, sizing HVAC equipment, and participating in engineering and optimization of mechanical design. Key Responsibilities: - Design HVAC systems such as plant layout, process flow diagram, and HVAC equipment selection - Prepare HVAC Design Basis and Philosophy, HVAC SYSTEM - D & ID, AIR FLOW DIAGRAM - Develop ducting layout, insulation details, and HVAC System Standard Drawings - Create the CAUSE & EFFECT CHART, Noise Calculation Report, and evaluate customer specifications - Verify BOQ and technical requirements, prepare time schedule for mechanical scope of works - Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, participate in design review process Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HVAC systems - Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in reading schematics, system diagrams, and manuals - Knowledge of HVAC used in Offshore platforms/ Oil & Gas platforms - Experience in project management, document management, and occupational health and safety Additional Company Details: Siemens Energy is dedicated to helping customers navigate the world's most pressing energy problems.
