You should have knowledge of Controls System (DCS, PLC & SCADA) and Field Instruments (Transmitter, Sensors etc.). It is essential that you understand and review P&ID drawing. Your responsibilities will also include having knowledge of Control panel design, which involves components list, loop drawing, cable schedule, terminal schedule etc. Furthermore, you will be required to develop the logic diagram and HMI for the industrial processes. As an ideal candidate, you are expected to be an Engineering Graduate (Instrumentation & control/Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engineering) with 2-3 years of experience in engineering and commissioning of automation systems. Knowledge of PCS7 will be advantageous, and candidates with advanced training certificates of Siemens DCS/PLC/SCADA/Instrumentation or similar certificates from other automation vendor (manufacturer) companies will be given preference. A combination of software and hardware design & understanding is desired, and knowledge of power plants will be a plus. In terms of personal attributes and traits, you should possess excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills. Being detail-oriented is a must, along with the ability to work safely in an industrial environment. Creative & Initiative skills for value addition are important, and self-motivation is a key trait that is required for this role.,
