Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Post Diploma in Tool Design, PG in Tool Design

Experience: 3+ years of experience in mechanical design with proficiency in Solid-works and Auto-Cad.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with 3 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD and a basic understanding of electronics. This role involves creating and refining mechanical designs, producing technical drawings, and collaborating with various teams to support product development and integration.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCADfor mechanical design.
• Knowledge of GD & T
• Knowledge on different IS & Other Industrial Std’s
• Basic understanding of electronics and their application in mechanical systems.
• Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Hands on preparation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc., doc will bean added advantage
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Solid-works Certification) are a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Design: Develop detailed mechanical designs for components and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements
• Technical Drawings:

Create and manage 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and models. Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather design requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.

• Prototyping and Testing:

Assist in the development of prototypes, conduct tests, and analyse results to validate and refine designs.

• Documentation:

Prepare and update design documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and technical reports.

• Electronics Integration:

Apply basic knowledge of electronics to ensure mechanical designs can effectively integrate with electronic components or systems.

• Designing: Participate in design reviews, providing insights and feedback to enhance design feasibility and performance.
• Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve any design-related issues or challenges that arise during development and manufacturing.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to continuously improve design practices and methodologies.

Working Conditions

• Environment: Office-based with occasional visits to manufacturing sites.
• Need-based: travel to Vendor Visit

Minimum Service Agreement : 12 Months/24 Months of Service commitment (If selected)
