This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Chennai. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing new mechanical systems, creating detailed mechanical drawings, and using CAD software to create and modify designs. They will work closely with other engineers and product development teams to ensure that designs meet required specifications and are cost-effective. Additional tasks include performing engineering calculations, preparing design reports, and ensuring that all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and objectives.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Product Design
Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
