Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Sonipat. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and designing new mechanical components and systems. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed design specifications, generating CAD models, conducting engineering analysis and simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability. Additional duties include participating in design reviews, prototyping, and supporting the manufacturing teams to troubleshoot design-related issues. Key Responsibilities Design and develop 3D CAD models for prosthetic components and assemblies Optimize designs for lightweight strength, manufacturability, and aesthetics Select suitable materials (polymers, composites, metals) for performance and comfort Collaborate with electronics and firmware teams for system integration Conduct structural, motion, and load simulations (FEA, kinematics) Create and review detailed manufacturing drawings and GD&T specifications Prototype components using 3D printing, CNC machining, and other methods Test and validate mechanical designs in real-world usage scenarios Continuously iterate designs based on feedback from clinicians and users Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or final-year student) Proficiency in SolidWorks Experience in product design, preferably in robotics, prosthetics, or wearable devices Knowledge of manufacturing processes (3D printing, CNC, injection molding) Familiarity with FEA and motion simulation tools Strong understanding of material properties and selection for functional prototypes Hands-on prototyping and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment Passion for designing impactful technology to improve lives Why Join Us?
