Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Draughtsman, you will be responsible for developing detailed technical drawings and plans for engineering projects. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure that the technical specifications are accurately represented in drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
• Convert design sketches and concepts into precise technical drawings.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications in all drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design challenges and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain and update drawing records and associated documentation.
• Assist with project documentation and reports as required.
• Skilled in the design and development of material handling equipment, including aerial platforms, tippers, and scissor lifts.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or material handling industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in technical drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
