Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Position overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in flow meters, pumps, valves, and process instruments to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems crucial to water management, industrial processes, and related applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, fluid dynamics, and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Fusion 360 and AutoCAD to create detailed 3D and 2D mechanical designs and models. Collaborate with engineers and product teams to develop designs that meet functional, performance, and manufacturability requirements. Perform design analysis, including tolerance analysis and fit checks, to ensure designs are robust and feasible. Create and maintain accurate technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications for production and assembly. Conduct simulations and analysis of designs using Fusion 360 and other software tools to optimize mechanical performance. Support the prototyping and testing phases of product development, making modifications and adjustments as needed. Ensure that designs meet safety, quality, and industry standards. Provide input during the design review process and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any design challenges. Work with vendors and manufacturers to ensure designs are optimized for cost-effective production. continuously stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in design tools and technologies, incorporating them into the design process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in mechanical design, with strong proficiency in Fusion 360 and AutoCAD for both 3D and 2D designs. Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on flow meters, pumps, valves, and process instrumentation. Proficiency in 3D modeling, simulation, and design analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to implement design improvements based on feedback. Preferred Skills: Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software. Collaborative and innovative work environment. Problem-Solving Prior experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous Having 2-3 yrs.
