Job Description

MEAN Stack Developer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using

    MongoDB, MySQL, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js

    .
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
  • Work with

    AWS services

    (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.) for application deployment and scaling.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using

    Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI

    .
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on

    containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

    and cloud deployments.
  • Optimize database queries and ensure

    data security, integrity, and performance

    .
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring uptime and scalability.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years

    of professional experience as a

    MEAN Stack Developer

    .
  • Strong proficiency in

    JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3

    .
  • Expertise in

    Angular (or React if cross-trained)

    and

    Node.js

    backend development.
  • Experience with both

    MongoDB

    and

    MySQL

    databases (schema design, queries, optimization).
  • Familiarity with

    Express.js

    framework.
  • Hands-on experience with

    AWS services

    (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch).
  • Exposure to

    DevOps tools

    : Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with

    CI/CD pipeline setup and Git-based workflows

  • Knowledge of

    REST API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices

    .


Good to Have (Preferred Skills):

  • Experience with

    Microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with

    testing frameworks

    (Mocha, Jasmine, Jest).
  • Basic knowledge of

    Python/Go

    for scripting.
  • Understanding of

    Serverless architecture

    on AWS.
