About The Opportunity

Healthcare — Multispeciality Hospital sector based on Ram Tirath Road, Amritsar (Punjab). We provide comprehensive inpatient and emergency services across medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology and critical care. This on-site role supports continuous patient care, acute admissions and inpatient management at a busy referral centre.

Position:

Resident Medical Officer (RMO) / MBBS RMO — On-site, Amritsar, PunjabRole & Responsibilities
  • Conduct timely ward rounds, document clinical findings, and implement treatment plans for admitted patients.
  • Respond to emergency department referrals and initial triage; stabilise acute medical and surgical cases.
  • Manage admissions, discharges and handovers; complete medical records, prescriptions and referral notes accurately.
  • Perform routine procedures including IV cannulation, wound suturing, basic airway management and urgent interventions as required.
  • Coordinate with consultants and specialty teams for investigations, escalation and patient transfers; facilitate timely diagnostic workups.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, hospital protocols and participate in clinical audits, shift briefings and multidisciplinary rounds.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS degree with valid medical registration (State/NMC)
  • Prior clinical experience in inpatient wards or emergency settings (multispeciality hospital preferred)
  • Proficiency in emergency triage and patient stabilisation
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Competence in ECG interpretation, IV cannulation and basic procedural skills
  • Accurate clinical documentation and ability to follow hospital protocols

Preferred

  • Experience with point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) or basic portable USG
  • Training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Pediatric/Neonatal resuscitation (PALS/NRP)
  • Previous RMO or junior doctor experience in a high-volume multispeciality facility
