About The Opportunity

A provider in the healthcare services industry operating in the outpatient primary-care (OPD) sector across India. We deliver patient-centered clinical services focused on timely diagnosis, preventive care, and chronic disease management in high-volume clinic settings.We are hiring a clinically strong MBBS-level physician to join a fast-paced OPD team and deliver safe, evidence-based outpatient care to diverse patient populations.Role / Job Title

General Physician (OPD)

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide timely outpatient consultations: evaluate patients, take focused histories, perform physical exams, and formulate differential diagnoses.
  • Manage acute illnesses and common chronic conditions in OPD, initiate treatment plans, and arrange follow-ups or referrals as appropriate.
  • Perform minor procedures routinely done in OPD (wound suturing, abscess drainage, joint injections) following clinic protocols.
  • Write clear, guideline-compliant prescriptions and counsel patients on medications, lifestyle modification, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate, legible medical records and update patient charts in the clinic EMR; ensure data confidentiality and compliance with clinical policies.
  • Coordinate with nursing, diagnostics, and referral teams to ensure smooth patient flow, triage urgent cases, and escalate when needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS qualification and valid medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council/NMC (as required).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Prior hands-on OPD/primary care clinical experience in high-volume outpatient settings.
  • Demonstrated competency in outpatient assessment, acute management, and common minor procedures.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and clinical documentation best practices.

Preferred

  • Postgraduate diploma or residency training in Family Medicine, General Medicine, or Community Medicine.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification or equivalent emergency care training.
  • Experience with non-communicable disease (NCD) clinics, preventive screening programs, or telemedicine platforms.
