Job Description

Position:Material Engineer

Experience:
Minimum 10+
years experience in Oil & Gas Industry with
a strong background in
Material Engineering
.
Technical Knowledge:
Corrosion monitoring and corrosion control systems
Material selection, testing, and qualification for oil & gas service
Failure analysis and RCA methodologies

Provide materials engineering expertise to support oil & gas facilities and assets.
Lead and support corrosion monitoring programs and material degradation assessments.
Perform material selection, qualification, inspection, and testing in accordance with oil & gas standards.
Conduct and support
root cause analysis (RCA)
for material and corrosion-related failures.
Review QA/QC, inspection, and testing documentation to ensure compliance with approved standards.
Coordinate with inspection, maintenance, integrity, and engineering teams to resolve material integrity issues.
Ensure compliance with
OE framework
, company procedures, and international oil & gas codes and standards.
Prepare technical reports, material specifications, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in materials reliability and corrosion management.
