Job Description

As a member of the Materials Planning Team at TE Connectivity, your role will involve planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials throughout the production cycle. You will be responsible for determining the quantity and order date for materials, initiating purchase or production requisitions, and developing production schedules based on forecasts and historical analysis. Additionally, you will be involved in developing specifications for new contract orders, forecasting labor requirements, providing input on supplier performance, and participating in supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. Monitoring cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to ensure the best quality at the best value will also be a key responsibility. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials throughout the production cycle - Determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules - Initiate purchase or production requisitions in compliance with supply agreements - Develop production schedules based on forecasts and historical analysis - Develop specifications for new contract orders - Forecast labor requirements and provide input on supplier performance - Participate in supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team - Monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to ensure quality at the best value Qualifications Required: - Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management - Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in Supplier Planning & Supply Chain - Strong knowledge in SAP, MS Office, Access, and SharePoint - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-moving environment - First-class prioritizing skills - Teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively under pressure,
