Massil Technologies - Mainframe Administrator

Good To Have :

• Experience with TWS/OPC Scheduler
• Domain knowledge or project experience in Consumer/Retail/Customer-facing systems
  

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe programs using IDMS, Db2, VSAM, and Easytrieve.
• Design and execute batch jobs using JCL, ensuring efficient and timely processing.
• Develop and support CICS online transactions for high-volume consumer-facing applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust mainframe solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects or production issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize mainframe applications for performance and scalability.
• Coordinate with QA and operations teams for deployments and testing support.
• Work with scheduling tools like TWS/OPC to manage job workflows (if applicable).
  

Preferred Candidate Profile :

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
• Prior experience in consumer-focused environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
