Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Business Development Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Your role will involve developing and implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring team performance, and providing continuous training and support to drive performance. You will analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine business strategies and conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline management, and forecasting. Collaboration with the marketing team to design lead-generation campaigns and promotional activities will also be a part of your responsibilities. Building and nurturing strong relationships with schools, colleges, educators, and corporate partners will be crucial in this role. You will prepare and present business proposals and solutions to prospective clients, ensuring CRM data integrity and timely reporting of sales metrics. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. You should have 3-4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the EdTech, education, or training sector, along with at least 12 years of experience in a leadership or team management role. A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office, willingness to travel as required, and a driving license are also required qualifications.
