Job Title: Marketing Strategist India Market (User Research, Segmentation & Strategy Planning)

Location: Remote / India-based

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct

    in-depth market research

    on consumer behavior, demographics, psychographics, and digital consumption patterns across the Indian market.
  • Analyze

    market trends

    ,

    competitor positioning

    , and

    consumer needs

    to identify business opportunities.
  • Segment the market

    based on data (demographics, behaviors, purchasing power, geography, etc.) and develop

    user personas

    for key segments.
  • Provide

    clear recommendations on which user segments to target

    , supported by data (TAM, SAM, SOM, LTV, CAC estimates where possible).
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive

    Marketing Strategy Plan

    for the chosen segments, including:
    • Positioning

      and

      messaging frameworks

    • Channel selection (digital, offline, partnerships, etc.)

    • Acquisition and engagement strategies

    • Budget recommendations and performance KPIs

  • Work with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure

    cross-functional alignment on the strategy

    for analysis.
  • Create and present

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum

    3-5 years of experience

    in

    marketing strategy

    consumer insights

    roles focused on the Indian market.
  • Proven ability to

    design actionable marketing strategies based on research findings

  • Strong understanding of

    Indian consumer behavior

    across urban, semi-urban, and rural segments.
  • Proficiency in

    competitive analysis

    .
  • Skilled in

    data interpretation

    presenting recommendations to leadership

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
