CTC: Maximum gross up to 70 K PM + DA + Incentive

Reporting To:

Objective

To drive secondary sales, expand the dealer/distributor network, strengthen brand visibility, and ensure consistent sales growth for steel Bar products across Tamil Nadu through effective marketing and field initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Distribution Management

  • Drive

    secondary sales

    targets through efficient dealer/distributor engagement.
  • Ensure adequate product availability and stock rotation across the supply chain.
  • Monitor and analyze dealer-wise and territory-wise performance on a regular basis.
  • Implement sales schemes, pricing strategies, and promotions in coordination with primary sales teams.

2. Market Development & Channel Expansion

  • Identify and appoint new dealers, sub-dealers, and retailers to enhance market penetration.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess competition, pricing, and customer sentiment.
  • Strengthen relationships with channel partners through regular meetings, training, and support.

3. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Plan and execute

    B2B and influencer marketing activities

    (Engineer meets, mason/contractor programs, etc.).
  • Support brand visibility through local events, signage, outdoor media, and promotional campaigns.
  • Work with the central marketing team to execute region-specific initiatives.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor activities, pricing movements, and market trends.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports on sales performance, schemes, and market insights.
  • Provide feedback to management for strategic decision-making.

5. Team Management

  • Lead and guide Territory Sales Officers / Field Executives.
  • Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain strong market relationships.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-ground support.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / MBA (Marketing preferred).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 7-10 years in

    steel Bar / building materials / construction products

    with strong exposure to

    secondary sales and channel management

    .
  • Good understanding of dealer networks and market dynamics across Tamil Nadu.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and report preparation.
  • Fluency in Tamil and working knowledge of English.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the state.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly secondary sales targets.
  • Growth in active dealer base and market coverage.
  • Implementation and success rate of marketing initiatives.
  • Team productivity and dealer satisfaction levels.
