Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive showroom footfall and online sales.
  • Identify target customer segments (retail buyers, corporate clients, interior designers, builders).
  • Plan seasonal campaigns, festive promotions, and showroom launch events.

2. Branding & Promotion

  • Strengthen the brand image of the showroom through consistent messaging and creatives.
  • Oversee showroom branding, signage, and visual merchandising.
  • Develop marketing materials such as brochures, catalogues, and promotional kits.

3. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

  • Manage digital campaigns across social media, Google Ads, and email marketing.
  • Optimize online presence through SEO, SEM, and local business listings.
  • Drive offline marketing like newspaper ads, boardings and radio promotions/exhibition.
  • Generate and nurture leads for showroom walk-ins and B2B sales.

4. Customer Engagement & Analytics

  • Design customer loyalty programs, referral schemes, and after-sales engagement activities.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales team to create personalized campaigns for high-value clients.

5. Partnerships & Networking

  • Explore sponsorships and collaborations for exhibitions, trade fairs, and community events.
  • Manage PR activities and media relationships for maximum visibility.

6. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team (digital, design, field promoters).
  • Coordinate with showroom managers and sales heads for campaign execution.
  • Monitor team performance and assign clear KPIs for measurable results.

7. Budgeting & ROI Tracking

  • Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Track ROI of campaigns and optimize spend across channels.
  • Provide regular marketing performance reports to management.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of retail marketing, preferably in furniture/lifestyle sector.
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools, analytics, and CRM.
  • Creative thinking and ability to design innovative campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a marketing team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PG in Marketing or equivalent.
  • 710 years of experience in retail marketing (furniture, lifestyle, or home dcor preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth through marketing initiatives.
