The Opportunity

ISMG is seeking a hands-on and technically adept Marketing Automation & Operations Specialist to drive the execution, efficiency, and impact of our digital outreach to existing and potential vendors. This role is pivotal in restoring structure and consistency to our marketing engine by managing end-to-end email campaign delivery, vendor relationships, and performance reporting.
With a balanced mix of platform expertise Marketo and HubSpot being the preferred tools campaign ownership, and stakeholder management, you will ensure seamless execution of targeted email marketing campaigns that directly support sales performance, revenue growth, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and is motivated by the opportunity to both execute and innovate. Key Responsibilities
  • Build, launch, and manage email marketing campaigns using Marketo and HubSpot.
  • Automate workflows, nurture streams, and list management for large-scale databases.
  • Troubleshoot issues and maintain platform best practices to ensure flawless campaign delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into campaign strategies.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external vendors and internal teams (sales, operations, content).
  • Ensure deliverables are met on time, communicate proactively, and manage dependencies across functions.
  • Design and implement reporting frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Monitor performance metrics (open rates, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, revenue impact).
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to optimize future campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo (certification preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end campaign execution at scale, including database segmentation and automation workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills; ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Preferred:
  • Experience in B2B media, marketing events, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, field mapping, and marketing-to-sales alignment.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email customization and troubleshooting.
