Marketing and Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly driven Marketing & Operations Manager to build and lead core commercial and operational systems for our pharma merchant export business. The candidate will be responsible for establishing end-to-end processes across marketing, MIS, supply chain coordination, regulatory interactions, and export operations. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and an ability to create structured systems from scratch.

Key Responsibilities.

1. Marketing & Business Operations

• Develop structured product-wise and country-wise marketing plans for African and international markets.
• Coordinate with country marketing teams, distributors, and partners for demand forecasting, pricing, and promotional planning.
• Manage product portfolio, market intelligence, competitor mapping, and commercial insights.

2. System & Process Development (From Scratch)

• Build SOPs, workflows, and MIS dashboards for sales, supply chain, regulatory workflows, and logistics.
• Implement tracking systems for enquiries, quotations, orders, production status, and dispatches.
• Digitize operational processes and ensure data integrity across teams.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with:

Regulatory Affairs (RA) for dossiers, queries, registrations, and NOCs.

Production & Supply Teams for manufacturing schedules, packaging plans, and stock availability.

Exports & Logistics for documentation, dispatch timelines, and freight coordination.

– Finance & Accounts for billing, collections, and commercial documentation.

– Legal & Compliance for agreements, regulatory adherence, and export compliance.

4. Supply Chain & Operations Management

• Plan and monitor end-to-end supply chains from production to dispatch.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to maintain timelines and resolve bottlenecks.
• Responsible for On-Time In Full (OTIF) execution of export orders.

5. MIS, Reporting & Data Management

• Develop and maintain MIS reports including:

– Sales performance

– Country-wise order status

– Stock & production timelines

– Regulatory trackers

– Logistics dashboards

• Present weekly updates to the Business Head.

6. Back-Office, Legal & Compliance Support

• Manage export documentation: COA, COO, invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory and export requirements.
• Coordinate legal documentation including agreements, NDAs, MOUs.
