Position Summary

The Salesforce Business Development team will be responsible for generating leads, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, account teams, and strategic partners, and broadening services to new and existing clients. The executive will source new business opportunities/engagements by using an existing network of professional contacts and by initiating and developing relationships with executive client professionals, professional advisors, and partner channels that lead to signed contracts for ATBOD to deliver professional services. The executive will be able to identify and assist in closing consulting services.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1+ years of proven success in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns, events, and content to support business development efforts, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead the end-to-end Lead cycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Ability to comfortably interface with Clients to help align with their business and technology strategies
  • Prior experience in application sales in Salesforce, or preferred prior experience as a Salesforce AE
  • Proficient in new business development, consultative selling, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Extensive experience in the development and execution of the BD process to close the business deal through executive contacts. Extensive experience in identifying client issues and priorities and providing solutions based on the services of the firm.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Actively pursue new business opportunities and network within the industry to bring new client opportunities to the teams.
  • Prospecting and developing new clients to expand ATBOD's presence in the target industry space,e including maintaining an extensive pipeline of qualified new client opportunities.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities and provide high content contributions to joint product and consulting opportunities around client applications
  • Generate sales by winning new client accounts and adding industry-specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process.
  • Maintain and nurture client and channel relationships to ensure additional business.
  • Align with the client's broader sector and account teams to create account growth Strategies through the Account Planning Process.
  • Achieving monthly and annual sales goals and market penetration targets.
  • Effectively securing new IT business contracts with businesses, governments, and individuals
  • Design and execute effective Lead and sales strategies, and Prospect and target sales leads within the assigned sales region
  • Co-developing client strategies with Sales and Marketing leadership and other practices.
  • Defining growth opportunities through industry, client, and competitor analysis.
