• Lead manufacturing engineering team to improve productivity & efficiency
• Implement Kaizen, lean manufacturing principles & time studies
• Conduct method studies, capacity calculations & process layout
• Qualification: BE/ B. Tech (Mechanical/Production/Automobile)
• Experience : 20+ Years
• Job Profile: To lead current plant Improvements projects and upgradation of plants.
• Designing processes with the help of APQP for new product Introduction (Productionisation) & New projects from concept till launch /commissioning.
• Effectively handling issues pertaining to new product launch on the production line.
• Coordinating for DFA of new products (Engine, Tractor Hydraulic, Transmission, overall assembly, cab trim etc) for first time right productionisation.
• Handling process activities, involving working out various requirements w.r.t. planning, layouts, facilities, machines/equipments, manpower & documentation (PFD, PFMEA, CP, SOP/WI, VTC, manifest, APPAP etc).
• Coordinating plant activities for the set up of Process standards, Tool design-data room & Work measurements with accountability for strategic utilization & deployment of available resources to achieve organizational objectives.
• Should have good project management skills. Should establish MIS departmental dashboards to upkeep KPIS and KAIs of the function.
• Must have knowledge of “MOST” work measurement technique.
• Co-ordinating Capex Planning and monitoring for overall plant.
• Cost Control: Manage the budget for civil infrastructure maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring that all work is completed cost-effectively without compromising on quality or safety.
• Planning & execution of civil infra improvement / Development projects & infra related current plant maintenance.
• Planning & execution of Warehouse and logistics planning, Packaging plans & Part handling for new parts etc.
• Implementation of cost reduction techniques across the function.
• Implementation of continuous improvement projects through KAIZEN, CIT, OIT, CRE, CFT, PDCA, 5S, LCA, Mistake Proofing (Poka-Yoke), TPM & Lean Mfg. etc
• Technology upgradation : Identify and implement innovative technologies and processes that improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management-employee relations and achieve dedication by workers.
