Role Overview – Manual Test Lead

Position: Manual Test Lead
Experience: 3-8 Years
CTC: As per company standards

We are looking for a self-driven, process-oriented, and fast-moving Manual Test Lead to own quality across our web and mobile applications. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes initiative, anticipates risks early, and continuously improves QA efficiency while ensuring high-quality, fast releases.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Own the complete manual testing lifecycle – planning, execution, validation, and release sign-off
✔ Design, review, and optimize test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and UAT testing
✔ Lead and mentor a small QA team; define best practices and ensure process adherence
✔ Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams for early defect detection
✔ Continuously improve QA processes to enhance speed, reliability, and coverage
✔ Track and manage defects using Jira (or similar tools) and ensure timely closure
✔ Support faster release cycles with minimal post-production defects
✔ Prepare and maintain clear QA documentation and reports for every sprint and release

Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ 5–10 years of total QA experience, with minimum 2 years in a lead role
✔ Strong experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
✔ In-depth knowledge of STLC, SDLC, test strategy, and defect lifecycle
✔ Hands-on experience with Jira, TestRail, Postman, and basic SQL queries
✔ Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
✔ Highly proactive and independent—able to anticipate and resolve issues without hand-holding
✔ Strong process-driven mindset focused on consistency and continuous improvement
✔ Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹838,409.03 - ₹2,016,900.71 per year
