Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Testing Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing concepts, SDLC/STLC, and hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and defect reporting. The candidate must be able to join immediately and should be based in Coimbatore or willing to relocate without delay.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.

Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases.

Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Identify, log, track, and report bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand features and functionalities.

Validate fixes and perform regression testing as required.

Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project status reviews.

Prepare test summary reports and document results.

Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction through diligent testing practices.

Required Skills:

4–6 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.

Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.

Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into test cases.

Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.

Familiarity with defect management tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.

Exposure to database testing (using SQL queries).

Knowledge of basic API testing is an added advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Good to Have:

Basic knowledge of automation tools like Selenium (optional).

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

ISTQB Certification (added advantage).
