Job Description

Role Overview: As part of the QA Team, you will play a crucial role in the product development process by ensuring the quality of our SaaS product before live deployment. Your responsibilities will include manual testing, maintenance of test suites, defect tracking, and collaborating with various teams to ensure product usability across different platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Manual testing of our SaaS Product - Creating and maintaining a manual test suite for the product - Acting as the final gatekeeper before live deployment - Collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers - Studying product documents and specifications to prepare test cases - Logging and tracking defects through Defect Management tools - Analyzing, debugging, and troubleshooting issues related to setup, configuration, Database, and servers - Configuring and maintaining a testing environment capable of simulating various device configurations and infrastructure failures - Ensuring product usability across desktop and mobile web platforms Qualifications Required: - MCA or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT engineering - 2-5 years of experience in software testing - Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and go the extra mile when required - Hands-on experience with LAMP environment testing - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills - Experience with traditional SDLC and agile/scrum development - Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, integration, regression, end to end, system, etc.) - Experience in performing database testing, script testing, and browser testing - Familiarity with issue tracking platforms like JIRA - Basic knowledge of web concepts (HTML, webservers), relational and non-relational database management systems - Basic experience in automation testing and tools like Selenium is an added advantage - Experience with web service testing (REST and JSON, HTTP) - Basic knowledge of Jmeter for API testing, Load testing, and distributed testing, including monitoring at the server and application level - Experience with at least one web security tool (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
