Job Summary:

Manual Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to prepare comprehensive

  test plans and test cases

  .
• Execute

  manual test cases

  for functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track

  defects and inconsistencies

  in software using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to

  reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues

  .
• Participate in

  review meetings

  to discuss defects, priorities, and testing progress.
• Validate

  fixes, patches, and enhancements

  to ensure successful deployment.
• Ensure testing is aligned with defined

  quality assurance (QA) processes and standards

  .
• Provide clear, detailed, and reproducible

  test evidence and reports

  .
• Continuously improve testing processes and suggest new methods to enhance quality and efficiency.
  
• Support

  automation teams

  by identifying repetitive test scenarios suitable for automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  .
• 2–5+ years of experience in

  manual testing

  of web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle

  .
• Experience in writing and executing detailed

  test cases, test scenarios, and test reports

  .
• Familiarity with

  test management and bug tracking tools

  (e.g., Jira, TestLink, Zephyr, Quality Center).
• Solid knowledge of

  functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing

  .
• Basic understanding of

  databases (SQL queries)

  for backend validation.
• Exposure to

  API testing tools

  (e.g., Postman, Swagger) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing

  mobile applications

  (Android/iOS).
• Understanding of

  Agile / Scrum methodologies

  .
• Exposure to

  automation testing tools

  (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) or willingness to learn.
• Certification in software testing (e.g.,

  ISTQB

  ,

  CSTE

  ) preferred.
