Job Title: Manual QA Tester

Work Mode: Chennai Sholinganallur (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing
• Execute manual test cases and document results clearly and accurately
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect-tracking tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to resolve issues
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
• Review test cases and provide mentorship to junior QA team members
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and standards
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing before releases
• Support production releases and post-release validation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in Manual Software Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Expertise in functional, regression, system, and UAT testing
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of test case design techniques
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Experience with API testing (manual tools like Postman/Swagger)
• Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, qTest)
• Exposure to automation testing concepts
• Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
