Manager/Sr Manager/Head-Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Position: SCM Head

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration.

• Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in handling Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments.
• Preferably, experience in exporting and importing goods from Russia and China.
• Working experience in India, Africa and Middle East is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the companys business goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards, particularly for DG shipments.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers across 12 countries.
• Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and support business growth.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain.
• Implement and maintain supply chain management systems and software.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of DG shipments in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the supply chain.
• Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain to minimize environmental impact.
