Job Description

Key Responsibilities

24*7 Monitoring of Satellite Uplink Downlink parameters for Transponders.

Operates, maintain, troubleshoots complex uplink equipment s.

Demonstrates leadership ability with the ability to work well in cross functional teams.

Strong communication skills that include technical documentation, written reports, development and delivery of presentations and the ability to listen/communicate effectively with satellite operators / vendors.

Operation maintenance of large Earth Station Antenna (9.0m above) and subsystems, HPA, Upconverters Modulators.

Provide all necessary support to vendors for preventive maintenance and service of antenna subsystems, Satellite Uplink Downlink subsystems.

Strict adherence to SOPs related to fault management in event of any system failure to minimize the outage.

Hands on Experience

9.0-meter Antenna and control system, CPI/XICOM Make HPA, Miteq/Comtech make Up Converter, Modulator, Spectrum Analyser and Power meter, Satellite Meter, trouble shooting of fault on card level.

Ideal Experience Profile

B. Tech Degree with 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role (Broadcast operation and engineering)

Willing to work in Shifts.

Skills

Strong knowledge of broadcast rules, standards, and regulations.

Proficiency in maintenance, operation, and design of technical broadcast equipment.

Ability to identify and resolve operational/technical equipment issues effectively.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
