Manager - Treasury

As the Manager - Treasury at Gradiant India Private Limited in Chennai, India, you will play a crucial role in managing the funding, cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and risk management aspects of the organization's treasury function. Your responsibilities will include structuring and negotiating project financing, term loans, and working capital facilities. You will be required to liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure cost-effective funding and conduct due diligence for equity infusion and External Commercial Borrowings (ECB). Forecasting short-term and long-term cash flows across multiple projects will be a key aspect of your role. You will need to ensure optimal cash positioning and manage intercompany fund transfers effectively. Implementing strategies to reduce working capital requirements and optimizing working capital will also be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining strong relationships with banking partners, negotiating fee structures, and ensuring compliance with banking covenants and regulatory requirements will be essential. You will oversee treasury audits and internal control frameworks to mitigate risks effectively. Monitoring foreign exchange exposures, implementing hedging strategies, and evaluating interest rate risks will also be crucial aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you are required to have a CA, CMA, or MBA in Banking with 5-8 years of experience in treasury management. A background in SAP Functional skills is preferred. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role. Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, is mandatory. Your ability to seamlessly coordinate with other business functions will be critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of the treasury operations.
