Job Description

Your key responsibilities

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Consults, advises, and partners with corporate divisions to ensure divisions understand the access control expectations, their roles and responsibilities, and enable the divisions to meet the expectations of their roles.
  • Develops, directs, and oversees the implementation of changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives in line with IAM technologies. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Upholds divisional accountability through evidencing and measurement methods. Develops reporting to assess the organizations effectiveness.
  • Manages the scope of services provided to the divisions, including service level agreements, and ensures the sustainability of technology processes and services.
  • Supports Enterprise Risk Management in performing and overseeing access management for division-level risk assessments.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Investigate and analyze security incidents, collaborating with key stakeholders and assisting in both internal and external audit activities while maintaining detailed documentation for future reference.
  • Review existing security controls, identifying weaknesses and recommending targeted improvements to strengthen system defenses and eliminate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Facilitate security awareness within the organization, ensuring teams are informed of access control procedures and the importance of maintaining robust security practices.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of security protocols and access management systems, proposing adjustments as necessary to stay ahead of emerging security threats.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, preferably in IAM, information security, network administration, or IT.
  • Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelors in Computer Applications (BCA), or Masters in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Supervisory experience preferred, with a strong track record of leading IAM technology teams.
  • Expertise in IAM frameworks, security controls, and governance models, with hands-on experience in IAM technologies such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Zero Trust principles.
  • Strong ability to assess and implement IAM solutions that align with enterprise risk management strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive IAM initiatives across the organization.
  • Experience in vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and implementing security best practices.

Ideally, youll also have

  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
