Role & responsibilities

  • Training and Awareness:

    The DPO is responsible for training staff on data protection policies and practices. This includes conducting workshops and awareness programs to promote a culture of privacy within the organization.
  • Handling Complaints

  • Liaison with Authorities:

    The DPO serves as the main contact point between the organization and data protection authorities. They cooperate with regulatory bodies during audits and investigations.
  • Data Protection Impact Assessments:

    The DPO conducts assessments to evaluate the impact of data processing activities on individuals' privacy and recommends measures to mitigate risks.
  • Policy Development:

    The DPO is involved in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
