Data Protection Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Training and Awareness:

  The DPO is responsible for training staff on data protection policies and practices. This includes conducting workshops and awareness programs to promote a culture of privacy within the organization.

• Handling Complaints

  : The DPO acts as a point of contact for individuals whose data is being processed. They handle complaints and inquiries regarding data processing and ensure that individuals' rights on protection of their personal data are respected.

• Liaison with Authorities:

  The DPO serves as the main contact point between the organization and data protection authorities. They cooperate with regulatory bodies during audits and investigations.

• Data Protection Impact Assessments:

  The DPO conducts assessments to evaluate the impact of data processing activities on individuals' privacy and recommends measures to mitigate risks.

• Policy Development:

  The DPO is involved in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
