Key Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of GST and other indirect tax laws in India.
- Strong analytical, liaisoning, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable, in-depth experience in Indirect tax issues
- The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and government authorities to ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST and other indirect tax laws.
- High integrity and ethical standards

Key responsibilities

Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and other statutory filings.
- Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and implement necessary changes in processes and systems.
- Maintain documentation and records as per statutory requirements.
Litigation & Representation:
- Handle indirect tax assessments, audits, and litigation.
- Draft replies to notices, appeals, and represent the company before tax authorities.
- Coordinate with legal counsel and consultants for complex litigation matters.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with finance, legal, supply chain, and business teams.
- Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
- Support statutory audits and internal audits related to indirect taxes.
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or LLB with specialization in Taxation.

Experience: 4 5 years of post-qualification experience of indirect tax compliance, advisory and litigation in Big4/MNC/High volume company
