Job Description

Position: Manager – Taxation & Compliance (E-commerce)

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Nirmit Bharat

Key Responsibilities1. GST – E-commerce Focus

Filing Monthly / Quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, GSTR-9/9C)
E-commerce specific compliances:
GST on marketplace vs own inventory model
TCS under GST (Section 52) reconciliation
State-wise outward supply & registration management
ITC reconciliation including portal vs books vs vendor data
Handling GST notices, audits, and departmental queries
Continuous tracking of GST amendments relevant to E-commerce

2. TDS Compliance (Including E-commerce)

TDS deduction under applicable sections
Monthly challan payments & Quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q)
Form 16 / 16A issuance
Reconciliation with TRACES / Form 26AS

3. ESI & PF Compliance

Monthly ESI & PF contribution calculation and deposit
ECR filing, challan generation and payments
Employee joining / exit compliance
Coordination during inspections and audits

4. Direct Tax & Statutory Compliance

Advance tax workings support
Income tax return support (company-related)
Maintenance of statutory registers and compliance documentation
Coordination with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities

5. Process Control, MIS & Automation

Statutory compliance calendar management
Periodic MIS on GST, TDS, ESI & PF

Must Have – Mandatory Requirements

Hands-on E-commerce experience in:

GST on online sales
Marketplace transactions
TCS reconciliation
Multi-state GST compliances
Experience working with high-volume transactions and reconciliations

Qualification & Experience

CA / MBA Finance
Minimum relevant experience in Taxation & Statutory Compliances
E-commerce / digital business experience is mandatory
Experience in fast-growing or compliance-intensive environments preferred
