Your key responsibilities Technical Excellence 1. Fund & Corporate Entity Operations Assist in new fund set up activities such as obtaining required registrations for funds and assisting team for all activities required for set-up. Assist in day-to-day fund operations for India and Gift City fund entities. Coordinate with fund administrators for NAV, capital calls, distributions, and reporting. Monitor cash flows, banking transactions, and reconciliations across entities. Support management of investment manager entities books and ensure timely closing. 2. Accounting, Accounts Payable Management & Reporting Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with Indian GAAP / Ind-AS. Prepare and review monthly/quarterly financial statements, MIS, and investor reports. Ensure consolidation of accounts where required. Support audit processes and timely finalization of statutory financial statements. Prepare quarterly budgets for the corporate entities and helping with forecasting for future expenses. Oversee accounts payable management including vendor payments, reconciliation and maintaining acculate records of outstanding liabilities. To also ensure timely payments of vendors. 3. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance Work with external tax advisors to ensure direct and indirect tax compliances (TDS, GST, Corporate Tax, FATCA/CRS, transfer pricing). Track and ensure regulatory filings with RBI, SEBI, IFSCA, MCA, and other authorities applicable to fund and corporate entities. Monitor and maintain compliance calendars for all entities. 4. Banking & Treasury Track bank statements on a daily Handle banking relationships for day-to-day operations, KYC updates, and new account openings. Assist in FX transactions, capital movements, and treasury management. 5. Stakeholder Management Liaise with fund administrators, tax consultants, legal advisors, and auditors to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with internal teams on financial and operational requirements. Support investor relations team by providing accurate and timely data. 6. Investor Payouts and Queries Investor allocations and payments to investors as per waterfall mechanisms defined in the fund documents Managing all documentation for payouts to domestic / international investors as per requirements of banks. Responding to investor queries pertaining to payment calculations, tax deductions as and when required 7. Process Improvement & Controls Assist in setting up and maintaining robust internal controls, processes, and documentation. Identify and implement process improvements in accounting and reporting. Qualification Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferred), or MBA Experience 3-8 years of experience Finance Manager in Managing Private Equity, Fund Accounting, Finance Operations, and Compliance across Multiple Fund Structures and Investment Manager Entities in India.
