Job Description

Role Overview: As a visionary Manager - Talent Development & Learning at VGL Group, your role involves architecting and executing global learning strategies to enhance organizational capability, boost performance, and support the company's growth trajectory across five countries. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role that provides access to cross-functional resources and visibility to leadership, offering you the opportunity to innovate, influence, and potentially transition into a leadership position as the function expands. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement a comprehensive global talent development framework aligned with VGL's business strategy and cultural values across India, the US, Germany, the UK, and China. - Conduct organization-wide learning needs assessments and develop scalable learning interventions to address business challenges effectively. - Establish competency frameworks and career progression pathways for critical roles in various functions such as retail, operations, supply chain, technology, and corporate functions. - Create a 2-year learning roadmap with defined metrics, milestones, and ROI measurement frameworks. - Develop and execute impactful leadership development programs for different levels of leaders, including emerging leaders, mid-level managers, and senior executives. - Design role-specific functional training curricula for areas such as sales excellence, customer service, merchandising, supply chain, digital commerce, and manufacturing operations. - Build onboarding and assimilation programs to enhance new hire retention and reduce time-to-productivity across different geographies. - Establish blended learning experiences using digital platforms, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), microlearning, coaching, and experiential methodologies. - Develop change management and transformation enablement programs to support business pivots and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Required: - 10-15 years of dedicated experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, or Organization Development roles. - Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-wide learning programs in multi-country, multi-cultural environments. - Strong expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, competency modeling, and learning measurement. - Experience in retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or consumer goods industries is highly preferred. - Demonstrated ability to operate independently as an IC, influence senior stakeholders, and drive cross-functional initiatives. - MBA/PGDM in HR or Bachelor's/master's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
