Essential Accountabilities
Collaborate with Hiring Managers
- Partner with hiring managers across various departments to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies aligned with company goals.
- Facilitate regular meetings with hiring managers to provide updates on recruitment progress, discuss candidate profiles, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Strategic Sourcing
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and external consultants, to identify and attract top talent.
- Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
Candidate Assessment
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for Welspun One.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and refine interview questions and evaluation criteria.
Full Recruitment Cycle Management
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing job offers.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and maintaining open communication throughout the recruitment cycle.
Employer Brand Promotion
- Act as an ambassador for Welspun One, effectively communicating our culture, values, and growth opportunities to candidates.
- Showcase Welspun Ones commitment to diversity and inclusion in all recruitment efforts.
Data and Reporting
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and generate reports to track recruitment metrics and KPIs.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize recruitment strategies and improve efficiency.
External Partnerships
- Build and manage relationships with external recruiting partners, agencies, and job boards to enhance recruitment reach.
- Evaluate the performance of external partners to ensure alignment with Welspun Ones talent acquisition objectives.
Stay Informed and Innovate
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition.
- Continuously seek innovative ways to improve recruitment processes and enhance Welspun One’s employer brand.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Effectiveness of TA Function in Achieving Hiring Goals:
- Cost per hire
- % jobs hired vs demand within stipulated time
Sourcing Candidates from Multiple Channels:
- % people hired directly vs indirectly
- Number of applications screened/interviews conducted/new hires per Talent Acquisition FTE
Candidate Onboarding Experience:
- Connect with 100% new joiners as per WOLP’s plan
- New hire NPS
Implementation of RCM Tool:
- % hiring requests managed through RCM
Collaboration with Other Functions:
- Feedback rating (1–5 scale) by CHRO / Head of HR
Recruitment Data Management:
- Feedback rating (1–5 scale) by CHRO / Head of HR
Sourcing Efficiency and Quality of Candidates:
- Feedback rating (1–5 scale) by CHRO / Head of HR
Educational Requirements and Work Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred. Work Experience:
8–10 years in talent acquisition, with exposure to the construction, asset management, and warehousing sectors either from a corporate or recruitment firm. Other Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in ATS systems, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
