Senior Executive – Statutory Audit & Taxation

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Audit

• Lead and manage statutory audits in accordance with Companies Act and ICAI guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with enhanced reporting requirements (e.g., Clause 44BBC, Clause 36B for buyback, MSME payments).
• Prepare and review Form 3CD, CARO reports, and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams to close audits smoothly and on time.

Direct Tax (Income Tax)

• Review and file ITRs for companies, including disclosures in updated ITR-2 format.
• Ensure correct application of sections like 43B, 194R, MAT/AMT, and capital gain provisions (including JDA cases).
• Handle TDS return filings, reconciliations, and 26AS/GSTR-2B cross-verification.
• Liaise with consultants and represent during assessments and appeals.

Indirect Tax (GST)

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C returns.
• Implement ITC reconciliation as per GSTR-2B and handle blocked credit under Sec 17(5).
• Comply with new GST mandates: ISD mechanism, e-Invoice validity, MFA for GSTN, and e-Way bill updates.
• Respond to GST notices (DRC-01), and maintain proper documentation for audits.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualified

  Chartered Accountant

  or

  CA Inter + relevant experience

• Sound understanding of Indian taxation laws (direct and indirect) and statutory audits
• Updated knowledge of Finance Act 2025 amendments
• Strong command of MS Excel, Tally/SAP/ERP systems
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Faceless Assessments & GST litigation
• Working knowledge of tax audit tools and MCA filings
• Ability to handle multiple entities or group companies
