Job Description

Job Summary -

The Incumbent will be responsible for the sourcing of material in line with the business demand from the Sales team

Main Responsibilities -

Identify suppliers for raw material & bought out material (outsourced)
Qualify & develop the suppliers based on the NSE in coordination with Quality Manager
Firming up the supplier agreement, material specification, Pricing
Focus on sourcing Sustainable material in line with Company’s guidelines.
Own the cost given to Operation team for outsourced material
Handle & resolve escalation from the operation team on frequent quality & delivery related supplier issue
Profitable sourcing & risk analysis
Work closely and support the Sales team on identifying opportunities to convert business
Maintain documents as per the QMS & EMS Process
Meeting all Regulations & Compliances
Global coordination

Education -

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile)

Experience -

Minimum 12 years of experience in sourcing

Languages -

Proficiency in local language & fluent in English

Skills & Competencies -

Good business acumen, Influencing & Interpersonal skills

Health & Safety -

The incumbent should be able to satisfy Nefab’s code of conduct aspects of Health & Safety

Environment -

Preferably certified EMS – Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor

Additional Information -

Advantageous if the person has experience in Wood, Paper Sourcing.
