Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and closure of monthly and annual books.
Review balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance with Ind AS and company accounting policies.

Compliance & Audits

Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory filings.
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and tax advisors.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

Implement and monitor internal controls and SOPs.
Identify gaps in processes and drive improvements for efficiency and compliance.
Ensure audit readiness and documentation standards.

MIS, Budgeting & Analysis

Prepare and review MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of actuals vs budgets.
Provide insights to management on financial performance.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination

Manage and mentor accountants and junior finance team members.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, legal, and procurement.
Support management with financial data and analysis for decision-making.
