ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Manager- Salesforce.com, role combines architectural responsibilities with managerial leadership and leading the solution design and architecture of scalable, secure and high-performing Salesforce applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, development teams and product owners to ensure that business needs are accurately translated into flexible, extensible and reusable Salesforce solutions. You will serve as a technical thought leader, driving platform best practices, integration design, and solution governance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline
  • Certifications such as Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect or Technical Architect are preferred
  • Additional certifications in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Experience Cloud are a plus
Required Experience
  • 9-12 years of overall IT experience as Manager and at least 5+ years in Salesforce architecture, design and implementation
  • The role combines architectural responsibilities with managerial leadership.
  • We are targeting an experienced Salesforce Architect who is also capable of leading and managing a team.
  • Core responsibilities include project management, people management, and overall team leadership.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in adopting new technologies and possess a broad understanding of multiple tech stacks.
  • Must have the ability to understand end-user needs and align solutions to business challenges.
  • Drive revenue growth and foster diverse, collaborative working groups.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, business acumen, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven experience in: Leading teams, Mentoring associates, Maintaining employee relations and team engagement.
  • Proven experience with multi-cloud Salesforce environments (e.g. Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing)
  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL and platform APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP), middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica) and AppExchange products
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset and source control (Git)
Essential skills
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, sharing rules and role hierarchy
  • Experience leading end-to-end Salesforce implementations and large-scale digital transformation initiatives
  • Expertise in Salesforce DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation using tools like Copado, Gearset and Salesforce DX
  • Proficiency in complex integration architectures, middleware solutions and API optimization for enterprise-scale data synchronization
  • Experience with performance optimization, governor limit management, and asynchronous processing for high-volume Salesforce environments
  • Ability to design scalable solutions including custom applications, integrations, automation and analytics
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired skills
  • Experience with Salesforce Health Check, Shield and data compliance/security controls
  • Exposure to Agile and SAFe methodologies and use of tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs and unlocked packages

Strategy and Planning
  • Define and evolve Salesforce architecture strategy aligned with business and IT goals
  • Drive platform roadmap planning and alignment with enterprise architecture standards
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify emerging needs and translate them into Salesforce capabilities
Delivery and Execution
  • Lead design and solutioning for Salesforce implementations and enhancements
  • Provide architecture governance and code/design reviews across development teams
  • Ensure reusability, performance, scalability and security in Salesforce applications
  • Guide platform optimization, performance tuning and org health improvements
Support and Enablement
  • Oversee post-implementation support, troubleshooting and enhancement cycles
  • Establish strong documentation and enablement practices for continuity and scalability
  • Monitor evolving Salesforce technologies and advocate adoption of relevant innovations
People Leadership
  • Mentor and support Salesforce developers and functional consultants
  • Lead architectural discussions and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and innovation
