Job Description: Logistics Manager - Coimbatore

Explus Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in Coimbatore. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our international and domestic logistics services to clients in the Coimbatore region. You will be a proactive leader, focused on expanding our market presence and managing a dedicated team to achieve ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement & Sales: Meet with new and existing customers daily to understand their logistics needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Business Growth: Actively generate new business leads and acquire new clients to expand our customer base.
  • Volume & Revenue Management: Develop strategies to generate and maintain a consistent volume of business, ensuring revenue targets are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their individual and team sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, customer acquisition, and market opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • A strong understanding of the Coimbatore market and its business landscape is a plus.
