Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist in a healthcare setting, your primary responsibility will be to implement and monitor Quality Management Systems in accordance with NABH 6th Edition standards. This includes conducting internal audits, gap assessments, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to quality and accreditation requirements. You will take the lead in driving quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across various departments within the organization. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, reviewing, and updating policies, SOPs, and clinical protocols to maintain high-quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and mentoring staff on quality and accreditation requirements to ensure a culture of continuous improvement. Effective coordination with department heads and committees will be essential to facilitate this process and ensure timely preparation and documentation for NABH accreditation. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within a NABH-accredited hospital. A strong understanding of NABH 6th Edition guidelines and healthcare compliance standards is crucial, along with experience in audits, documentation, and quality improvement projects. Your organizational and project management skills will play a vital role in successfully executing your responsibilities. Excellent communication and training abilities are also essential to effectively convey quality-related information and requirements to staff members. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, Nursing, or a related field to meet the educational requirements of this role. A Master's degree is preferred, and possessing NABH internal auditor certification is required. The job is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work at the specified location.
