Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Ensure that all style details for construction, styling and fit are as per approved sample / standards. 2. Shall ensure the shade & shrinkage management followed right from fabric storage to PROCUT, Cutting & Loading to the lines done Shade wise PO wise. 3. Ontime approval of size set. 4. Conduct on time PPM to achieve the target PCD. 5. Submission of TOP within 7 days from the PPM date. 6. Machine setting as per approved standard & critical operation mocks display as per line design during batch setting is done. 7. Check the measurements of garments produced at random to ensure that all garments are produced as per spec (check min 3 pieces per style/colour/size per hour). 8. Ensure Feedback gone to the Needle Point-Operator from end table and final checkers on defects observed. 9. Shall have extra attention to the operations where rework % is high, defects are recurring. Closely monitor the highlighted critical operations as per line design. 10. Shall conduct Random inspection of passed pieces at final table and Evaluate the performance of checkers in end table / final table. 11. Shall ensure feedback to PM, Factory Manager, Finishing Manager is given for the quality problems noticed & being rectified in batch. 12. Ensure that the fabric and accessories approval cards are displayed in the line and also Size matrix is displayed at the operator table attaching the labels. 13. Shall educate operators on self-trimming, checking process & give feedback to supervisor & PM on daily basis based on End table results. 14. Shall ensure Shade & shrinkage management followed from fabric & cutting to sewing & accordingly Kimble fixing done for wash styles at end table. 15. Goods for Pre final & final inspections are offered to NQC/NCA as per the scheduled Plan agreed with GMQ. 16. Audit results reviewed & action taken at shop floor. 17. Shall ensure Daily & weekly FTR tracking done & Training Needs identified for further training.
