Key Responsibilities Policy Implementation & Compliance: Implement HR policies, systems, and procedures as designed by Corporate HR, and ensure adherence to statutory requirements and labor laws at the unit level. Recruitment Coordination & Onboarding: Coordinate interviews in consultation with Corporate HR, complete joining formalities, and ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees at the unit. HR Operations & KEKA HRMS Management: Manage day-to-day HR operations including attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and employee records using KEKA HRMS , while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Employee Engagement & Welfare: Coordinate unit-level engagement and welfare activities such as safety day programs, festival arrangements, annual health checks, and other employee-related events as per organizational guidelines. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling: Act as the first point of contact for employees at the unit, resolve queries and grievances, and maintain harmonious employeemanagement relations. Training & Development Coordination: Coordinate SOP trainings at the unit level as per location-specific requirements, along with trainings initiated by Corporate HR, by ensuring participation of concerned employees, maintaining attendance records, and tracking completion of all assigned trainings. Compensation & Benefits Administration: Process payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, and leave data through KEKA, and address employee queries related to salaries and benefits. Contract Labour Management: Oversee the deployment, attendance, compliance, and welfare of contract labour at the unit level, ensuring smooth contractor coordination and adherence to statutory norms. Administration of Unit Support Services: Manage canteen operations, Occupational Health Centre (OHC), and essential services required for manufacturing area operations such as pest control, housekeeping, and other facility-related services to ensure smooth functioning of the unit. Key Requirements MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification. 57 years of HR experience, preferably in a unit-level HR role. Strong working knowledge of KEKA HRMS (mandatory). Hands-on expertise in HR operations, contract labour management, compliance, grievance handling, and training coordination. Experience in managing canteen, OHC, and facility-related services in a manufacturing setup is desirable. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with Corporate HR and ensure smooth execution of HR processes at the unit. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Quality Leadership & Compliance Lead the Quality Assurance department and ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory guidelines, and company policies. Implement, monitor, and continuously improve quality systems across the organization. Oversee documentation control and ensure data integrity in all QA processes. 2. Quality Oversight & Decision-Making Oversee and approve critical quality documents (such as master SOPs, batch release records, change controls, deviations, and CAPA) while ensuring effective review by the QA team. Ensure timely closure of investigations related to deviations, OOS, and complaints, with effective corrective and preventive actions. Authorize batch release in line with regulatory and company requirements. Ensure qualification and validation of equipment, utilities, and manufacturing processes as per regulatory expectations. 3. Audits & Regulatory Inspections Conduct internal audits and ensure site readiness for external audits (regulatory and customer). Act as the primary point of contact during inspections by regulatory authorities and clients. 4. Team Management & Development Guide, train, and develop the QA team to strengthen compliance and quality culture. Allocate responsibilities within the QA department and monitor performance. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Production, QC, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues. 6. Continuous Improvement Drive initiatives across the plant to enhance quality systems, compliance, and overall quality culture. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Bachelors/Masters degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field. Minimum 13+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the pharmaceutical industry (API) . Strong knowledge of GMP, ICH, WHO, USFDA, MHRA, and other regulatory guidelines . Proven experience in facing regulatory inspections and handling audits . Expertise in change control, deviation, CAPA, OOS investigations, and batch release . Excellent leadership and people management skills. Strong documentation control and data integrity orientation . Good communication skills with proficiency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Telugu and Hindi preferred for better coordination with cross-functional teams. 1. Daily Production Activities Operate and monitor production equipment under supervision. Ensure smooth running of production processes and support machine start-up/shutdown. Record production data accurately in logbooks. Assist in batch preparation and material handling. 2. Compliance & Safety Follow GMP/GLP guidelines and other industry regulations. Adhere to safety standards, including PPE usage and hazardous material handling. 3. Quality & Process Monitoring Conduct in-process checks (temperature, pressure, weight, volume). Identify and report deviations, abnormalities, or equipment malfunctions. Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. 4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and batch manufacturing records (BMR). Document equipment cleaning, usage, and preventive maintenance records. Assist during internal/external audits by providing required data. 5. Support & Coordination Collaborate with QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams. Assist senior staff in troubleshooting and minor equipment maintenance. Participate in training sessions and team meetings. 6. Continuous Improvement Learn and adapt to new production technologies. Suggest ideas for process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancement. Skills & Competencies Required: Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of production machinery and manufacturing processes (API). Understanding of GMP/GLP compliance.
