Manager - Projects

Role & responsibilities

• The planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of multiple CAPEX projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Supervise and guide project engineers, site teams, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution. Provide technical direction and resolve project-related challenges proactively
• Prepare detailed project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress through periodic reviews and MIS reporting
• Oversee vendor identification, technical evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring. Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of materials and services as per contractual terms
• Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Operations) and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, statutory bodies) to ensure seamless project execution
• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor CAPEX utilization, and drive cost optimization without compromising on quality or safety
• Enforce adherence to project specifications, quality assurance plans, and safety standards. Review site QA/QC reports, NDT results, and ensure compliance with HSE protocols
• Coordinate with consultants for statutory submissions and approvals, ensuring all project activities meet required legal and regulatory standards
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, procurement trackers, CAPEX utilization reports, and closure documents.
• Drive process improvements by leveraging learnings from past projects and introducing best practices in project management and execution

Preferred candidate profile

Well versed in Project Management, Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS office. Needs travel to Projects sites, Vender location as and when required
