MANAGER- PRODUCTION

The Manager- Production will be responsible for demonstrating manufacturing management experience and solid technical and engineering skills in a large format job shop machining environment. You will be required to conceptualize product development processes with a focus on quality control measures to meet company standards. Root-cause analysis should be performed to prevent reoccurrences and defective issues. Experience in overseeing New Product Introduction processes from inception to successful implementation is essential. As a team leader, trainer, and motivator, you will integrate efforts of cross-functional teams to maximize operational efficiency. Possessing fine-tuned analytical and troubleshooting skills is crucial. Your responsibilities will include devising production plans, ensuring adherence to time schedules, quality standards, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Managing production activities such as purchase planning, commercial operations, and vendor development will be part of your role. You will enhance operational efficiency by improving capacity utilization, reducing process rejection, eliminating non-value-added activities, and optimizing logistics. Implementing internal controls in operational areas to achieve higher efficiency, resource rationalization, and cost reduction is vital. You will regulate inventory levels to maintain logical stocks without excessive blocking of funds and collaborate with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements. Estimating costs, preparing budgets, organizing workflow, and monitoring production to resolve issues will be your routine tasks. Additionally, you will supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel, determine necessary resources, approve maintenance work and equipment purchases, and ensure that output meets quality standards. Implementing health and safety precautions is crucial in this role.
